According to reports from the Chronicle, Newcastle United are currently considering a move for Argentine international defender Nicolás Tagliafico.
Newcastle United will certainly need to improve in a number of positions during the final days of the transfer window and bringing in a new left-back will surely be high on the priority list for manager Rafael Benitez.
First choice Paul Dummett is expected to be out of action till November while at the same time, Newcastle are also looking to get rid of the services of Achraf Lazaar and as a result, the Magpies are currently short on numbers in the left side of defence.
Now according to reports from the Chronicle, it has been claimed that the Tyneside based outfit are currently considering a move for Argentine international Nicolás Tagliafico to reinforce their full-back positions.
Tagliafico is a talented left-back currently plying his trade for Independiente and Newcastle are said to have placed the 24-year-old as one of the targets to pursue during the final days of the current transfer window.
