NUFC player ratings revealed for FIFA 18 – here’s every player’s rating ahead of the new release

With just weeks until the release of top-selling video game FIFA 18 on September 29th, the ratings have been revealed for each and every Newcastle United player.

Here’s each and every rating within the NUFC squad, ranking from highest rated to lowest rated, for this year’s eagerly anticipated game:

Florian Lejeune –  79 (same as FIFA 17)

Jonjo Shelvey – 77 (same as FIFA 17)

Henri Saivet – 77 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Tim Krul  – 77 (-2 from FIFA 17)

Ciaran Clark – 76 (same as FIFA 17)

Chancel Mbemba – 76 (- 1 from FIFA 17 )

Jesus Gamez – 76 (- 2 from FIFA 17)

Javier Manquillo – 76 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Dwight Gayle – 75 (+2 from FIFA 17)

Matt Ritchie  – 75 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Joselu – 75 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Aleksandar Mitrovic – 75 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Christian Atsu – 75 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Mikel Merino – 74 (-2 from FIFA 17)

Ayoze Perez – 74 (same as FIFA 17)

Jamaal Lascelles – 73 (+2 from FIFA 17)

DeAndre Yedlin – 73 (+1 from FIFA 17)

Mo Diame – 73 (-2 from FIFA 17)

Jack Colback – 73 (-3 from FIFA 17)

Rolando Aarons – 72 (same as FIFA 17)

Paul Dummett – 71 (same as FIFA 17)

Isaac Hayden – 71 (+5 from FIFA 17)

Karl Darlow – 70 (-1 from FIFA 17)

Massadio Haidara – 70 (-3 from FIFA 17)

Rob Elliot – 69 (+1 from FIFA 17)

Jacob Murphy – 68 (+2 from FIFA 17)

Freddie Woodman – 62 (+1 from FIFA 17)

So, summer signing Florian Lejeune is our highest rated player at 79, the player with the biggest rating increase from Fifa 17 is Isaac Hayden (66-71) and the player with the biggest decrease is Jack Colback and Massaido Haidara, whose ratings have both fell by three.

Other observations are that Matt Ritchie is far too low at 75. I struggle to see how he has has went down in rating given he was one of the stand out players in the Championship last season – especially as Henri Saivet is rated at 77!

Mikel Merino also appears too low at 74, as does £12m summer signing Jacob Murphy at 68 (ouch!) and England U-21 goalkeeper Freddie Woodman at just 62.
