According to the Daily Mail, In-form NUFC midfielder Sean Longstaff is attracting interest from a host of Premier League sides following a stunning start to the season during his loan spell at Blackpool.
Following the signing of a new a two-year deal on Tyneside this summer, the NUFC U-23 midfielder was sent on loan to Blackpool to continue his development.
Since then it’s fair to say Longstaff has impressed, scoring 4 goals in 6 games thus far in League One. His form has turned the heads of ‘several’ Premier League sides, who stepped up their interest in the goalscoring midfielder by sending scouts to watch him over the weekend.
It’s easy to see why he has caught the eye, with this long range effort being one of several stunning strikes so far this season – earning him a nomination for the EFL’s goal of the month for August:

Blackpool are said to be hopeful to extend his loan deal already, whilst the Mail have also revealed that ‘several’ top flight scouts were present during Blackpool’s 3-1 win over Oxford on Saturday.
It’s great to see one of our own doing well. Hopefully he can be given a chance to show what he can do when he returns, or we’ll run the risk of losing one of our most promising prospects.
