The massive boost we COULD be handed ahead of next Monday’s trip to Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has emerged as the favourite to succeed the recently sacked Ronald Koeman at Everton – a development that could hand us a real boost ahead of next Monday’s trip to Turf Moor.

Given his superb success at Burnley over the past few years, Dyche’s name has been thrown firmly into the mix at Everton and he is yet to distance himself from the pretty rife rumours – leaving his future particularly up in the air ahead of next Monday’s game.

Whilst the key to any victory is to focus on our own performance, you’d think this can only serve to help us ahead of our upcoming trip to the high-flying Burnley.

They have had some real tough fixtures, yet sit 8th in the table, just a point behind us, having won at Chelsea and Everton already this season – also earning impressive 1-1 draws at Tottenham and Liverpool.

Dyche has them well organised and tough to beat . with them conceding just twice in four homes games so far this season – and whilst he could well still be in charge for next week’s game, the speculation surrounding his future is likely to have caused some uneasiness and unwanted distractions to their preparations.

It’ll be a battle of two dogged and disciplined sides next Monday, but this disruption and the *possible* exit of Dyche can only help our cause?
