With untimely injury concerns existing around key NUFC duo Mikel Merino and Jamaal Lascelles, injury news has went against us once more ahead of our upcoming trip to Old Trafford, with reports claiming Paul Pogba is set to make his long-awaited return for Man Utd against us next weekend.
The £89m Frenchman has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since September 12 and Man Utd’s recent results have shown just how much they’ve missed the influential midfielder, with Jose Mourinho’s side having a much better record with Pogba in the side:
Paul Pogba is set to make his return to action after the international break
Safe to say Manchester United fans can't wait to see the 24-year-old back in action given their contrasting performances with and without him…https://t.co/gFISfJs13S pic.twitter.com/JAzaGkxO3P

This doesn’t bode too well for us ahead of what already looked like a very tough away game next weekend.
That being said, you’d fully expect a reaction from the team following successive defeats, and Rafa will no doubt be busy devising a tactical plan to stop Lukaku and co. from doing damage.
As you can see below, Man Utd are clearly a far bigger attacking and creative threat with Pogba in the team, however it is some consolation that they have lost two of their last three.
Pogba has a greater influence on United than many realise. Passing, creativity, his runs/dribbling through the middle. He gives us quality. pic.twitter.com/0EVmPkWxhy

Also worth noting that majority of their squad will be returning late next week from international duty, unlike the vast majority of our squad, with many NUFC men likely to be on the training pitch preparing for next Saturday’s game.
Small details, but with Pogba potentially back next weekend, we’ll have to clutch at as many straws as possible if we’re to figure out how we might just get a result at Old Trafford next time out.
