Some interesting claims on the transfer front today, with various reports revealing that Newcastle United have agreed a deal to take Chelsea’s Kenedy on loan next month.
The Brazilian can operate either a left-back our left midfield and looked all set to seal a move to Tyneside over the summer, however that move broke down due to Chelsea’s inability to bring in a replacement in time.
It now looks like the deal will now go through next month, with the Daily Mail’s Craig Hope revealing today that NUFC have agreed a deal and will pay a loan fee to bring him to St James’ Park for the rest of the season – providing Chelsea pick up no injuries between now and the new year.

The Chronicle have since backed up these claims, stating Benitez is a long term admirer of the 21-year old Brazilian and is keen to sign him to add to his limited options down the left side.
He has made 4 appearances for Conte’s blues this season (all in cup competition) and has bagged 1 goal and 2 assists from the left-wing back position – with him playing in their 2-1 Carabo Cup win over Bournemouth last night.
Providing Chelsea get no injuries between now and January, this one looks like a goer.
Good signing? Here’s him in action in the Cup this season:
