Following claims that Rafa Benitez had made a loan approach for Everton forward Sandro Ramirez, freelance writer Paul Brown has claimed that the Spanish U-21 international has told his agent he prefers a move to Sevilla.
All hope is not lost in NUFC’s pursuit of Sandro however, with Michy Batshuayi understood to be Sevilla’s top target – meaning a loan deal for the unsettled Everton man may still be on the cards if they secured a deal for the Chelsea forward.
#efc Sandro's agent has told Sevilla they, and not #nufc, are the club he wants to sign for. But #cfc's Batshuayi remains their first choice

The IBS Times stated yesterday that Sandro’s £100k wages had not off-put Benitez (although the club would’ve expected Everton to pay a percentage of his wage), with the Chronicle claiming earlier in the week that sources on Tyneside refused to dismiss their interest in Sandro.
With him having struggled to settle at Everton it’s perhaps not surprise that he’d prefer a return to his homeland, however the Spanish contingent on Tyneside could yet persuade him.
We shall see, however Rafa will want to have options in the offing after two bids for Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen have been rejected over the past week.
GOOD… I’d bet my life most Newcastle United fans would love to see him reject us. Why on Earth are we being connected with this player? My guess is, this storey has been fabricated by some no-name sports journalist and has absolutly no substance to it. So I’m glad to hear it & is good news for NUFC fans.
