Some good news to report on potential deals for Islam Slimani and Martin Dúbravka , with it being confirmed over lunch time that BOTH are now on their way to Tyneside to complete medicals and seal moves to NUFC – and Slimani has already been pictured at the training ground!
As reported by various sources this morning, Newcastle have agreed loan deals for the Leicester City striker and the Sparta Prague stopper – with a deal for the latter believed to include an option to buy.
After suffering disappointment on so many deals over the last week, we’re all so eager to see the pair holding up the black and white shirt before we get too excited, however both have moved significantly closer to signing on the dotted line this afternoon.
As reported by Sky Sports’ Keith Downie, the Slimani has now landed at Newcastle airport after pictures on his Instagram account showed him getting into a private jet over lunch time.
