The NUFC side fans would love to see Rafa start against Arsenal on Sunday

After three home wins on the spin and a surprise away win at Leicester last weekend, many would back Benitez to play the same team this Sunday – however I’d like to see one change.

Dwight Gayle OUT, Islam Slimani IN.

Here’s the team I’d like to see start against Wenger’s side this weekend (and a bit explaining why I’d change it below):

The defence and midfield picks itself right now and rightly so, but the one area that’s been close to letting us down over the last few weeks is up front.

Gayle could and should have had a hat-trick against Huddersfield but came away without one. He looks woefully short of confidence and we have a £29m striker in Islam Slimani ready to take his place.

I hope Rafa gives him his big chance. His presence, aerial prowess and eagerness to impress could be ideal to unsettle this nervy Arsenal defence.

Also, Perez was outstanding at Leicester and has been out match-winner in the last two games, but he needs to have more to work with ahead of him. Not only do I think Slimani can be that man, I feel he’ll be far more of a handful and goal-threat against this leaky Arsenal back four.

What do you reckon folks? Would you give Slimani his first start on Sunday?
