An amusing clip has emerged following Sunday’s 2-1 win over Arsenal, with Matt Ritchie leaving Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hanging and high-fiving Ayoze Perez instead in the moments after the full time whistle.
We’re not sure if he meant it, but here’s the clip itself, showing the winning goalscorer sending the Gabon international back to Dortmund in-front of the Sky cameras!

In fairness, Aubameyang caused all sorts of problems and was instrumental in their opening goal, however it was Ritchie who had the last laugh scoring the winner and awkwardly ignoring the striker at the end of the game.
Ironically, the former St.Ettiene star is a player that very nearly signed at St James’ Park back in the days of Graham Carr, with the striker having admitted during his Dortmund days that he had offers from Newcastle United.
It wasn’t to be and it’ll go down as one we really live to regret, but NUFC fans appear to have enjoyed Ritchie’s inadvertent snub right in-front of the Sky cameras:
