  • Rafa Benitez has sent a clear message to Mike Ashley during today’s press conference, asking for future talks ‘as soon as possible’ after challenging the club to match his ambitions in his bid to bring silverware and European football back to St James’ Park – Full story here. 
  •  During an in-depth interview with the Daily Mail, Chelsea winger Kenedy has admitted that he would be ‘more than happy’ to sign for Newcastle on a permanent deal if the opportunity arrived this summer – Full story here. 
  •  David Luiz has admitted that he recommended Newcastle and Rafa Benitez to Kenedy prior to his loan move in January, admitting the Brazilian is now ‘in love’ with the club – Full story here.

  • According to an exclusive in the Daily Express, Newcastle are competing with Brighton and Everton to sign Strasbourg’s top scorer Stéphane Bahoken – the Ligue 1 striker who is set to be available on a free transfer this summer – Full story here.
