After an outstanding performance during last night’s 1-0 defeat at Wembley, several Spurs fans have urged Mauricio Pochettino to make a move to sign NUFC midfielder Jonjo Shelvey this summer.
The midfielder ran the show last night and was highly impressive in possession, spraying several inch perfect passes out wide and in behind.

The same fans were probably slating him after he was sent off on the opening day of the season, but this just shows how much he impressed last night!
I can’t see it happening, but it’s another indicator as to why he MUST be included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad this summer. He offers a range of passing which very few teams can cope with on his day.
Hope too God he is still a Toon player next season but got a nasty feeling Some of the top sides will make a big bid for him . Would be beter for us if he did not go too Russia in the summer because if he does and plays like he can , he’s gone .

I still believe Rafa is going to have to sell the family china to fund his transfers, and Shelvey might just be one that is sacrificed if big money comes in for him..
