Some interesting news tonight, with claims from that highly-rated Swiss striker Yannick Toure has already sealed a summer move to Newcastle United after penning a pre-contract agreement in January.
The Chronicle claimed just yesterday that the 17-year-old Young Boys star had arrived to undergo at trial at the club, however North-East journalist Neil Farrington has revealed that Toure has already signed at St James’ Park.
As stated below, he understands the striker is only on Tyneside for the week to get settled into life in England before his signing is made official this summer.
The 6ft 1′ forward has netted an impressive 24 in 25 games for Young Boys’ U-18’s, as well as 7 in 14 for their U-18’s – having also scored twice on his debut Switzerland’s U17’s recently.
The Mail’s Craig Hope confirmed in January that we were tracking the striker, and it now seems that we’ve got our man – being an impressive coup given Arsenal and Juventus were believed to have been interested.
One to watch over the coming years! Watch a clip of him in action HERE.

He’s got some skills alright. He’s one of those players where the ball just seems to stick to him when he runs at players, really looking forward to watch him develop and I think he will be making an appearance in the first team squad sooner than we think.
