It was reported by the Independent yesterday that Liverpool had made a move for Jamaal Lascelles one of their ‘top priorities’ this summer, and it appears that Liverpool fans are VERY keen on the idea of signing him.
The skipper has been a sensation all season, developing as a player and captain under Rafa Benitez’s guidance – and it seems the influence of the latter has left Liverpool fans pretty impressed.
Here’s what they’ve had to say on Twitter in reaction to yesterday’s rumour, suggesting they’d be absolutely delighted to see the England hopeful sign this summer:

It certainly seems as though they’d love to see him at Anfield, with me finding nothing but praise from Liverpool fans on social media following claims they could look to sign him.
Don’t bank on Benitez doing you a favour though Liverpool fans. Lascelles’ influence at NUFC is priceless and, if we were to ever entertain letting him go (which we shouldn’t), he’d not come cheap.
