According to Spanish outlet La Verdad, Celta Vigo winger Pione Sisto is one of Rafa Benitez’s ‘main targets’ this summer following another impressive season in Spain.
The 23-year-old Danish international racked up 5 goals and 10 assists in La Liga last season, with his form believed to have attracted interest from Newcastle and some of Europe’s ‘top clubs’ according to today’s report.
One thing that is worth mentioning is that he’s very much a left-winger, having played here during each and every one of his 36 appearances for Celta Vigo last season.
Does this mean he’s an alternative to Kenedy should a deal for the Brazilian fail to materialise? You’d think so as we couldn’t afford both..

He’s highly rated and a player who has been turning a few heads in Spain over the last 18 months, so it would make a lot of sense to hear he’s a player we’ve been closely tracking – especially given Benitez’s knowledge and contacts in La Liga.
