Some more promising news on the transfer front today, with the Chronicle revealing that Rafa Benitez is already pushing to secure summer signing number two.
This comes just a day after the club confirmed the permanent signing of Martin Dubravka – a deal which could be set to kick-start our business this summer (at least that’s the plan!),
The report today reveals that Benitez wants ‘at least’ another five this summer, and has not taken a holiday as a result, remaining in the UK instead in a bid to ‘push for further incoming deals’.
It’s stated that Rafa wants a right-back, a central midfielder, a winger, and a striker (or two), and it seems he’s working on a deal for one of those as we speak.

Many will be hoping the deal he’s working on is for Kenedy, however the Chronicle insisted that this is a deal that won’t be easy to complete, with his agent said to be ‘still monitoring the market to see what other moves could be available’.
That being said, it’s good to hear that signing number two may not be too far away.
Let’s hope this is the case. We didn’t do business quick enough last summer, so moving quickly in the market and getting some of Rafa’s top targets will be a big step towards keeping him at the club in the long-term.
Sadly, when it comes to transfers, Newcastle fans are like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber.
Is there a chance we’ll sign Torres?
About 1 in a million.

Agents are the chyte below the camels 4r5e..and should be wiped out.
This guy is obviously sorting his own best interests and deception not those of his client……and they’re all the bloody same.

My good mate at the Chelsea academy tells me Kennedy has told them he is keen to go back to Newcastle if possible, mind the same bloke told me Conte will still be there next season!

Can’t agree on Rafa signing Torres, only wages and length of contract would make him a viable signing.
Don’t know why he is being mentioned in every other blog.
Getting bored with this.
