NUFC linked with exciting move for Premier League winger sure to get bums off seats at SJP

According to the Mirror, Newcastle United are considering a move to bring Yannick Bolasie to St James’ Park after news that Everton boss Marco Silva could cash in on the winger this summer.

Bolasie has endured a tough few years since making a £26m move from Palace to Everton two years ago, having ruptured his knee ligaments at the back end of 2016 – an injury which saw him sidelined for the vast majority of 2017.

That aside, he arrived at Everton as one of the most exciting wingers in the Premier League, with his blend of pace, power and incredible skill being unrivalled on his day. With that in mind, he could the ideal signing to get bums off seats again at St James’ Park.

One concern is the damage his recent long-term injury may have done. He didn’t quite look the same when returning to the Everton side earlier this year, however he needs game time and good management to get him back to his best – something you’d back Benitez to give him.

Time will tell if there’s any truth in this latest rumour, but I for one feel he’d be worth the risk – especially if it’s true that our hopes of signing Kenedy are fading.

What do you reckon folks?
