According to the Chronicle, Fulham are now in talks to sign ex-NUFC stopper Tim Krul – meaning the Dutchman could be set to join Aleksandar Mitrovic at Craven Cottage this summer.
The story claims that Mitrovic remains their ‘No 1 transfer target’, but it looks like the Serbian may not be the only past or present Newcastle player to end up in West London this summer.
Krul joined Brighton just last summer, but he looks set to leave on a free at the end of this month after failing to make a single Premier League start last season.
Barcelona were credited with an interest in the 30-year-old just a few weeks ago, however it seems as though he could remain in England with Fulham after claims here that he’s now in talks to sign at the Cottage.
If this happens and he becomes their new number one next season, it’ll be interesting to see how he looks.
Was Rafa wrong to get rid or do you think he’s half the player he was during his heyday with us? Either way, I don’t think there’s who’ll be complaining now we have Dubravka – a goalkeeper who looks every bit good enough to be our No 1 over the next 5 years.
