Transfer talk – a round-up of today’s NUFC news & gossip – 20/06/2018

A round up of all of today’s news & transfer gossip:

  • According to Turkish Football, Senegal international Badou Ndiaye is keen to secure a move to Newcastle United this summer – with reports in Turkey claiming that we’ve submitted an offer that appeals to the Stoke City midfielder – Full story here. 
  • Jack Wilshere has confirmed that he will be leaving Arsenal this summer, and several NUFC fans have urged Rafa Benitez to make a move for the soon-to-be free agent as a result – Full story here. 
  • According to Mundo Deportivo, Mikel Merino’s move to Real Sociedad is now at an ‘advanced stage’ – news that suggests we may be close to summer signing number two after news that we’d only sell if we secured a replacement – Full story here. 
  • In light of claims that Stoke’s Badou Ndiaye is ‘keen’ on a move to NUFC, the Chronicle have admitted that he is a player Newcastle have been watching and someone who has impressed Rafa Benitez in the past – Full story here.
