Last week it was Kenedy, now it’s Ayoze Perez who’s scoring stunners in training for NUFC – with the Spaniard pulling off an impressive piece of skill to nonchalantly flick the ball past Rob Elliot during a training drill.
The talented 24-year-old was our top scorer last season – scoring 10 goals in all competitions – and it looks like he’s in a confident mood if this clip of him in Ireland is anything to go by!
Here’s the goal and incredible piece of skill:
When you gotta find new ways to score… ??? @nufc, Does it counts for the goal of the season contest? ? @the_dilsh, next time maybe you can save it ?? pic.twitter.com/PsYN44Ms0P

Even Rafa was left impressed, with the gaffer posting the clip on his own personal Instagram account, describing it as an ‘amazing goal’ from the Spaniard.
Another big season ahead for Perez. He came good in the end last season after a frustrating start, however I get the feeling he needs a better striker ahead of him if we’re going to get the best out of him.
Sorry to burst any bubbles, but on inspection by VAR it turned out Perez was yards offside, to which he headbutted the linesman and will be banned for our first seven games after pleading guilty to violent conduct. ?
