Ant & Dec get involved in a bid to force Mike Ashley out of NUFC – Amazing

Geordie duo Ant and Dec have now got involved in the latest campaign set up to force Mike Ashley out of NUFC – with the pair posting ‘If Rafa Goes We Go’ on their personal Twitter page in support of Rafa Benitez.

This comes following the emergence of protest group @IfRafaGoesWeGo – a fan-led movement aiming to pull Newcastle fans together to boycott Mike Ashley’s Newcastle United should Rafa Benitez leave next summer.

The Twitter page (see it here) is going from strength to strength as we speak, with several supporters, NUFC fan accounts and journalists (both national and local) now getting behind it in a bid to raise awareness and spread the word.

As a result, even famous celebrity duo Ant and Dec have now got involved – with them sharing the following tweet to their 6.7 MILLION followers, giving the campaign some HUGE publicity:

The protest group’s Twitter page has only been active for a matter of hours (forming only late last night), however they’ve already gathered 6,000 followers – and that total is on the increase by the minute.

A revolution for Rafa is taking shape.

Time to pay up or pack up, Mike. This is your final warning.

  1. Everyone should boycott his shops do not buy any new shirts as long as you are in black and white at the match .Money rules Ashley so it’s up to us as supporters to stop our money going into his pockets why does he do this all the time says Rafa will get every penny the club generates when he knows fine well he’s not going to give him any
Then you read he won’t give him any money until he signs a new contract
We all know Rafa is a straight up guy but in a way I wish he would leave and screw Ashley over
He won’t but I bet he does at the end of this next season

Lets go to his place until he gets out of our place.

A sentiment many of us have echoed for a long time. Money is the only language he understands. Let’s speak his language. Boycott matches boycott merchandise. Rangers got him out so can we.

  7. I see a lot of you saying don’t go to games stop giving your hard earned money to him to waste on his empire and I agree. Yesterday on another web site lot’s of folk were saying the same thing but there was one person who said he would not stop away and claimed there would be fifty thousand with him. So good luck to him when there at the bottom of the league I hope he doesn’t start whingeing because people like him will never see change in the club.

  8. If Rafa goes, the best way to fix Newcastle is: boycott all associated with ***-hley, don’t buy jersey, suvernir, and don’t buy tickets on st. James Park, we support Newcastle on television or outside st. james Park till ***-hley sells Newcastle
