- Newcastle have confirmed their fourth signing of the summer, with centre-back Fabian Schar signing an ‘initial’ three-year deal with the club after we activated his £3m release clause at Deportivo – Full story here.
- Sky Sports have confirmed that we have now agreed a £9.5m fee to sign Mainz striker Yoshinori Muto – with the Japanese international said to be now on his way to Tyneside for a medical – Full story here.
