VIDEO: Sky cameras show Aleksandar Mitrovic arriving back at NUFC – and he’s not happy

Following his post-World Cup break, Aleksandar Mitrovic is now back at Newcastle United after failing to complete a move to Fulham as of yet – and he doesn’t look too happy about it all if Sky’s latest clip of him is anything to go by.

The Serbian is believed to have already agreed terms with Fulham over a permanent move back to Craven Cottage, however Sky insist that the two clubs remain apart on valuation – with him returning to training today as he waits for a fee to be agreed.

As Sky’s Keith Downie alludes to in the clip below, Mitrovic does not look too happy to be back, with him being told he is NOT in Rafa Benitez’s plans as his potential return to Fulham drags on.

Here’s him arriving to the training ground this morning, with Downie admitting that the clubs are still ‘some way apart’ on valuation for the striker (Via Sky Sports):

Considering he was a one-time fans favourite, he cuts a visibly frustrated figure as he signs autographs for young fans.

Let’s hope his move to Fulham can be sorted out as soon as possible. Muto may be signing, but his sale could be essential if we want to see a more proven striker arrive over the next few weeks.

  1. Tbh if I was mitro I would be quite confused as well as annoyed. He was at loan at Fulham played excellent and seemed to start seeing his potential. He then plays for his country at the big stage and plays ok. He is basically told he’s not in rafas plans and Fulham agree to wanting him in their pl plight. He probably believes that after his holiday he would return to Fulham but it hasn’t transpired. What I don’t get is Fulham have the money to buy another striker we know that but are insistent on mitrovich. I believe they need a player who physically causes problems for defenders holds the ball up and is strong in the air. We don’t have that at all up front so for me mitro should stay. This is just a battle between two owners of who comes out on top two million is peanuts to them both. Ashley loves the games and it is us who suffer as we all know buying schar and muto means he needs to claw something back so no doubt driving this sell for two more weeks is his desire. I for one feel sorry for mitro because if anything you could see previous how much he wanted to play for our shirt as Newcastle fans we want to see passion in our players just a shame the owner doesn’t feel the same way.
