According to The Guardian, Newcastle have now made a £10m bid for highly-rated PSG left-back Stanley N’Soki.
This comes from North-East reporter Louise Taylor, who claims Benitez is also in the market for a centre-back after confirmation of Salomon Rondon’s arrival.
Our interest in the French U-20 international was confirmed last week by Sky Sports, who confirmed talks over a potential £7m deal, however he saw his stock rise over the weekend with an outstanding man of the match display during PSG’s French Superb Cup win over Monaco.
Here’s a snippet from The Guardian’s latest piece on all things NUFC, claiming we’ve now made a £10m offer for the 19-year old talent:
“Newcastle have also made a £10m offer for Stanley N’Soki, Paris Saint‑Germain’s 19-year-old left‑back and remain in the market for a centre-half.”
Despite fans worrying that his performance over the weekend would end any hopes we had of signing him, it seems this one may not be dead.
Time will tell if a £10m offer really has been submitted, but it’s being claimed in France that he is continuing to reject contract offers from PSG – suggesting he is on the look out for a move in search of first-team football.
Here’s one of his TWO assists for PSG on Saturday:
