Dennis Wise stoops to new low as he now responds to NUFC fans live on Sky

Dennis Wise last night appeared on Sky Sorts News to again discredit Newcastle fans, claiming he was getting abuse on social media after his ridiculous appearance on BeIN sports with Richard Keys and Andy Gray.

The worst part is, he claimed no one wants to have a ‘serious conversation’ about his comments, yet the True Faith Podcast, The Magpie Group and The Chronicle’s Mark Douglas have all invited him to discuss the current situation at NUFC – yet all have been blocked by Wise (on Twitter) with no response.

Wise made numerous claims that were totally untrue as he pathetically defended Mike Ashley, as the anti Rafa PR drive from Ashley gathers pace.

It is incredibly frustrating Sky Sports gave Wise airtime and didn’t even push him on his claims, instead giving him free reign to yet again spread lies about Newcastle fans.

Groups like if Rafa goes we go and the Magpie Group politely asked for Wise to clarify his comments and were blocked; a cowardly act from someone who knows his claims are baseless.

Here are some examples of fans and respected journalists asking for communication from Wise before being blocked…

As you can see above, the guys at True Faith even offered to raise an amount for a charity of his choice if he’d be willing to have a friendly chat with them on a podcast. Not only did he fail to respond, he simply blocked them instead.

This was the perfect example of a ‘serious conversation’ and one where no abuse whatsoever was involved, yet he has the audacity to make these comments on Sky Sports – painting us NUFC fans out to be the bad guys.

The fact that our own owner continues to commission a PR campaign against our own manager is a disgrace and as fans, we need to ensure this stops.

Media outlets like Sky need to understand their responsibilities and stop taking whatever pay out they get from Ashley to peddle myths and instead get back to what they should be doing; reporting objectively and fairly.

Wise was a disaster as an ‘Executive Director’ at Newcastle United and the only thing he has done since is appear in I’m a Celebrity get me out of here. Quite why he is still relevant and is asked to speak about Newcastle, a club he was with for 12 months nearly a decade ago, is embarrassing.

No doubt Kevin Keegan will shed even more light on the disastrous reign of Wise in his upcoming book.

In the meantime, as fans, lets ensure outlets like Sky know the truth!

At least this shows him up for what he really is – a complete an utter liar..
