As revealed in Kevin Keegan’s new book, Mike Ashley told a courtroom that he’s ‘never’ looked at the club’s website and would rather read the Beano than the club’s own programmes.
We know Ashley sees Newcastle United as nothing more than a money making toy to promote his own interests (Sports Direct), but this really does show just how little he cares about the club.
It’s in keeping with the total disrespect and neglect he’s shown our club over the past few years and it’s good to see him being exposed for what he really is in Keegan’s latest book – although it’s a sad reminder of what we are STILL having to deal with to this day.
As revealed in Keegan’s new book ‘My Life in Football’, here’s what Ashley told a courtroom during a tribunal:
“I have never looked at the club website.
“And I have to be exceptionally bored to read the programme.
“You will get more sense out of the Beano.”
The sooner we get this man out of our club, the better.
Sorry – show me the bit where he said he would rather read the Beano?
I think one of us misunderstood what was said.

Only way to remove the fat man is stop buying his merchandise, alcohol and pies. Anything you spend on match day is going into his pocket!!!!.
Stop moaning and act before its too late!!!
