Promising footage emerges from NUFC’s training ground – Key man set to return for Brighton?

The international break has come at a good tie for Newcastle, giving us the chance to get some key players back to fitness for our crucial game against Brighton next weekend – and it seems like Paul Dummett is one of those.

After missing the last few games and withdrawing from the Wales squad this week, it’s been great to see the reliable left-back make a surprise return to training yesterday.

The academy graduate makes us a far more solid unit at the back and the good news is he is back in training and surely comes straight back into the starting XI for the visit of the Seagulls a week on Saturday.

Here he is pictured in training, despite missing the Wales fixtures through the same injury:

It would be a big boost for us considering how well Dummett has dealt with the in form Knockaert in the past and allows Kenedy to pick up where he left off after a fine goal at Old Trafford when deployed rightly further forward.

The Brazilian was wasted at left back against Leicester and although Manquillo was slightly better at Old Trafford, Dummett being back is good news – especially ahead of such a massive game.

We could be boosted further with the news that Rondon is back in the gym; him alongside the impressive Muto after his first goal for us wold be a welcome sight in a game we clearly HAVE to win.

If they are both fit, what would your first XI for the visit of Brighton?
