Sunderland fans go to embarrassing lengths to mock NUFC – This shows how obsessed they are

Footage has emerged today of Sunderland fans stooping to a new low in their constant obsession with all things NUFC – with a ‘Sports Direct’ style shop sign from Mackem fan Darren Lloyd have a pop at us Geordies.

Below is the  ‘Sports Direct’ sign that has appeared in Sunderland to ridicule Newcastle fans over their supporter protests over poisonous owner Mike Ashley.

You can read the full write up in the Chronicle HERE but the fact Sunderland fans are mocking us for trying to change the way our club is run for the better, after having a terrible owner themselves until recently in Ellis Short, is laughable – and even more so as they languish in League One, a full two divisions below us.

Like the new board at Sunderland, their fans need to focus on sorting their own mess out before focusing on Newcastle.

I am sure we will continue to hear about ‘six in a row’ for many years to come, but while they are hosting the likes of Fleetwood, who really cares?

  1. So why do you decide to highlight their sign? Aren’t you now giving them more advertisement by posting it on here? Maybe you should stop and think about some of the **** you put on here before you put it on

  3. Why even give them coverage in an atricle. I had no idea of it before. Best leave it like that than give them limelight. Sick

  4. Pot calling kettle black me thinks. I don’t hear of any Sunderland fans going to Newcastle matches while were in League 1. Your fans have been seen at all of our away games. So people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
