The Magpie Group send message to Mike Ashley as they announce protest plans for Brighton game

The Magpie Group have confirmed that another protest will be taking place outside of St James’ Park before Saturday’s game with Brighton – signalling to Mike Ashley that ‘this is NOT blowing over!’.

It had been reported recently that Ashley and his cronies were predicting that this wave of protests (which started outside Sports Direct on Northumberland Street) would soon ‘blow over’, however the supporter group have insisted that it will most definitely not.

Pre-match protests have taken place outside the St James’ Park club shop prior to the last few home games, and it has been confirmed that another one will take place at 2.15pm before Saturday’s crucial clash with Brighton.

The group insist that ‘plans are well underway for future protests’, however they have called for fans to keep the pressure up on Ashley, saying ‘do not let this rest!’.

Will you be getting involved before the game on Saturday?

  2. MInt.

OK We’ll have the demonstrations just before the match – that way it’s convenient.
Ashley Out Ashley Out! Don’t give him your money!
    Booooo! Bloody parasite!
OK Lads – that’s it, off to the match now.

That’s it lads – protest Ashleys ownership of Newcastle United by protesting something else and going to the matches, because we like going to the matches.

  4. Sorry to say but he doesn’t give a toss about the fans. He knows they will support the team regardless which is quite right he is only interested in getting his asking price then will sell up . Let’s hope someone turns up soon and puts an end to this sorry state of affairs.
