Just as we won our first game of the season following a 1-0 win over Watford on Saturday, Sunderland‘s official Twitter account have made a laughable attempt to dampen our spirits – with them posting ‘six in a row’ soon after the game ended.
A desperate attempt to spoil the mood on Tyneside, proving once again that they really are the obsessed ones here.
It gets better though, with NUFC fans responding in perfect fashion with the following tweets:
This reminds me of the time Burton Albion relegated Sunderland to league 1. #isthatallyouvegot

It seems success in League One may be getting to the heads of their Twitter admin after their surge into the automatic promotion spots.
The ‘six in a row’ may also refer to their six wins in a row in League One, but we all know what they were playing at.
Good luck to them. I hope we meet again in the Premier League soon enough so we can set the record straight.
Isn’t it just because they’ve won their last 6 games, though? 😕

Oh yeh, that’s part of it, but the point remains that they’re the ones obsessed..
I didn’t think twice when they won on Saturday. But it seems they fancied a pop when they saw we had..

6 in a row in what league ???♂️ I forgot that Scumderland even still had a football team tbh, do supporters even have to pay to watch football at that part time level or do they get free match tickets with their macdonalds?

We’ll play PL football whilst they play in the First Round of the FA Cup against Port Vale. No need to say any more really.
