After today’s big injury news, this looks certain to be Benitez’s starting line-up vs Bournemouth..

With Rafa Benitez all but confirming that Lascelles, Shelvey and Muto will miss tomorrow’s game against Bournemouth, the side that looks set to start seem absolutely nailed on – with Schar, Ki and Perez almost certain to take their places.

All three picked up injuries in the 1-0 win over Watford last weekend and whilst it is a concern to hear none have recovered in time, the trio who look set to replace them tomorrow aren’t exactly coming in from the cold.

Perez (Muto’s replacement) came on and scored the winner, Ki (Shelvey’s replacement) turned the game on its head and looked a class act from midfield and Schar (Lascelles’ replacement) put in a monstrous display from the back, bullying Watford’s strikers and looking extremely confident on the ball.

With this in mind, here’s the team that looks all set to take on an in-form Bournemouth tomorrow:

After confirming injuries to Muto, Lascelles and Shelvey, here’s what Rafa said earlier todat about Perez, Schar and Ki following their impressive cameos last weekend:

“I gave them credit this week. I told them to keep pushing & make me to make a decision.

“It was crucial for us, & their contribution – their approach & commitment – has been key for us this season”

Will you be happy if this is the side Rafa does in fact go with tomorrow?

Given the other alternatives are Clark in defence, Hayden in midfield and Joselu up top, I suspect most will be!
