Newcastle United vs Bournemouth
English Premier League 2018/19
Saturday 10th November, 15:00 pm BST
St James’ Park, Newcastle

Newcastle United will be looking to build on their first win of the season when they host Bournemouth on Saturday.

We were 1-0 winners over Watford last weekend to move off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone, whilst Bournemouth saw their four-match unbeaten run come to an end in stoppage time at home to Manchester United.

The Cherries have made an excellent start to the 2018/19 season; heading into the weekend in sixth position and only four points off the top four. Eddie Howe’s side are excellent going forward so Rafa Benitez will no doubt have worked hard on our defensive strategy over the past week. OLBG tipsters recommend the Novibet free bet if you are looking to back Newcastle for a big win at home and push further up the Premier League table.

Jamaal Lascelles played only 45 minutes of our victory over Watford last weekend due to a shoulder injury and is a doubt for Saturday. Jonjo Shelvey went off early in the second half of the same game and is unlikely to face Bournemouth as a result, whilst Yoshinori Muto is also sidelined.

Joshua King has missed Bournemouth’s last two games with an ankle injury but could make the trip to St James’ Park. Otherwise Eddie Howe has a full squad to pick from. King could face a difficult task getting straight back into the starting lineup even if he is fully fit given the form of youngster David Brooks in the number 10 role since being handed his opportunity.

Steve Cook’s 90th minute winner for the visitors was the only goal of the game in this fixture one year ago. We were able to come away from the Vitality Stadium with a 2-2 draw back in February.

Predicted Newcastle United Starting Lineup (4-4-1-1): Martin Dubravka; DeAndre Yedlin, Fabian Schar, Federico Fernandez, Paul Dummett; Matt Ritchie, Ki Sung-yueng, Mohamed Diame, Kenedy; Ayoze Perez; Salomon Rondon

Predicted Bournemouth Starting Lineup (4-4-1-1): Asmir Begovic; Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniels; Junior Stanislas, Lewis Cook, Jefferson Lerma, Ryan Fraser; David Brooks; Callum Wilson

Newcastle United vs Bournemouth Tips

Bournemouth have won their last two away games – 4-0 at Watford and 3-0 at Fulham, so it’s likely going to be a difficult game for us. The Cherries are 8/5 to win on Saturday.

Although we haven’t seen too many goals recently, Bournemouth are an attacking side who can be vulnerable at the back. This should make for a good match at St James’ Park and there are odds of 11/10 currently on over 2.5 goals.

Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has been in excellent form this season and has been called up for the England national team for next week’s games. The striker is 11/2 to open the scoring this weekend.
