Aleksandar Mitrovic could now miss Fulham’s trip to SJP next weekend – Here’s why..

Aleksandar Mitrovic has barely missed a minute for Fulham this season, being their star man so far with 7 goals already, however he will miss their trip to St James’ Park next weekend IF he’s booked against West Ham tomorrow.

The Serbian has 4 yellow cards to his name and one more over the weekend would mean an automatic one-game suspension.

Although many would be intrigued to see Mitrovic back on Tyneside and up against Benitez – the man who was happy to cash in on him despite our need for a goalscorer – there’s no doubt that it would be a real boost to our chances ahead of what will be a massive game for both sides.

Most of his goals have come earlier in the season, with him bagging 5 in his first 6 games and going on a run of just 2 goals in his last 10 since then, however his impressive brace in Ranieri’s first game at home to Southampton just a few weeks ago was a reminder of what he is capable of when Fulham play to his strengths.

So, keep an eye on Fulham’s late kick off against West Ham at Craven Cottage tomorrow night folks. A yellow for Mitrovic and he’ll be missing next weekend.
