Worrying footage emerges as NUFC star spotted limping badly – A big doubt for Fulham?

It may have gone unnoticed at the time, but post-match footage from Saturday’s win at Huddersfield has shown Kenedy heading down the tunnel limping badly just moments after the final whistle.

The Brazilian had a tough afternoon against the Terriers, with him looking anything but comfortable in a left wing-back role, and he was replaced late on by Paul Dummett.

He went off with a slick knock, but the clip below shows him limping pretty heavily in the background:

Kenedy has had a frustrating season on the whole and struggled badly on Saturday, but to lose him to injury would be an untimely blow considering the busy festive period is the worst time to be short on numbers.

Rotation means Ritchie is likely to return against Fulham on Saturday, whilst Christian Atsu has probably earned another shot in the side after some promising performances in our last three games, however we’ll have to hope Kenedy’s injury is just minor.

With Fernandez and Shelvey early doubts for Fulham and Ki set to miss several weeks with the Asian Cup, Benitez could do without another blow.

  1. This is good news! I’m sorry but he has been consistently poor all season (Man U excepted) and has been a passenger and a liability almost every time he plays. This despite a promising start with us last season.
