Incredible footage of Florian Lejeune emerges – “This is insane..”

Just 19 days after undergoing surgery following a devastating knee ligament injury, Florian Lejeune has been spotted jogging on a trampoline and kicking a ball again.

The Frenchman’s recovery from his first ACL injury just last summer was incredible, with him returning within 4 months, and it looks like he’s recovering remarkably once again.

Here’s a clip taken from his latest update on Instagram yesterday, suggesting he’s well ahead of schedule:

Don’t get me wrong, Lejeune will still be missing for a few months yet, with him still only in the first stages of the rehabilitation process, but his recovery so far has been nothing short of sensational.

We miss the Frenchman whenever he’s out of the side, with his composure and class at the back often helping a certain Jamaal Lascelles in particular, so it’s a huge boost to see him back on his feet and ‘kicking’ a ball again.

As the clip above states, the man is bionic!

  1. I appreciate that his rising from the dead occurred during Easter but rather than suggesting that Lejeune is somehow reincarnated and his recovery a miracle, isn’t it more likely that his injury was a little less severe?
