According to reports in France, Newcastle remain “very interested” in signing PSG left-back Stanely N’Soki.
This comes from Paris United, who claim that the 20-year-old is still very much on the club’s radar less than 12 months after our failed attempt to bring him to St James’ Park.
Sky Sports confirmed that we’d had a bid rejected for the full-back last summer, however he went on to sign a new deal with the French Champions.
As stated below, Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Marseille are also said to be interested in the Frenchman:
N’Soki – who has operated as a left wing-back and centre-back for the Ligue 1 leaders this season – is a player who appears to have been on Rafa’s radar for some time now.
With Barreca heading back to Monaco after a miserable loan move and us needing a player to compete with Matt Ritchie for the left wing-back role, N’Soki could be a shrewd signing this summer.
One to watch if Rafa signs a new deal..
