According to reports in France, former Newcastle United target Stanley N’Soki looks set to leave PSG this summer – and it’s said he’s available for just £7m.
As we know, there’s a few BIG things to be sorted out of St James’ Park before we can expect any transfers to occur, but this is a deal we’ll surely have our eye on, with The Guardian confirming last August that we made a £10m bid for the left-back.
Since then, Matt Ritchie may have reinvented himself in a new left wing-back role, however it goes without saying that we desperately need reinforcements in this position.
France Football claimed last month that we may go back in for the talented 20-year-old this summer – and you can see why if he’s now set to leave for what appears to be a VERY reasonable fee for a highly-rated young talent.
There appears to be interest from several Ligue 1 sides – Lille and Marseille are mentioned above – but this seems like a deal that would appeal to both Rafa Benitez and Mike Ashley based on our previous interest and the fact he seems a very wise investment at just £7m.
N’soki played 15 times for PSG last season, bagging 2 assists and receiving a call-up to the French U-21 side in the process.
Here’s him in action:
Looks a talent.
