NUFC to be 'offered' Lazio's Jordan Lukaku in player-plus-cash swap deal - Dubious Report
According to new reports in Italy, Lazio's interest in Jamaal Lascelles is 'serious', with the Serie A side prepared to Jordan Lukaku in a 'player-plus-cash swap deal'.
I'm sure you're getting tired of hearing this line, but this is another story to be taken with a pinch of salt - even if Lukaku is a player we very nearly signed in January.
Lazio's interest in Lascelles was reported yesterday by LazioNews24, and it's now being claimed by ilmessaggero.it/ that the Italians could offer Lukaku in a potential player plus cash deal.
It's a two plus two equals four story if you ask me. Yes we showed interest in Lukaku a few months ago, but the fact he failed a medical suggests he won't be rushing back in to sign him this summer.
Not only that, I'd be surprised if Lascelles was even interested in leaving for Lazio - not forgetting the fact they'd have to spend BIG money to prise him away from St James' Park.
