According to reports in Italy, Fabian Schar’s agent has met with the directors of AC Milan over the weekend to discuss a potential deal – and it’s claimed he would be interested in the move.
This comes from Calciomercato’s Pietro Balzano Prota, with it doing little to lift our spirits in what has been an absolutely disastrous summer to date.
That said, it will surely take BIG money for anyone to prise the Swiss international away from St James’ Park, with the Lewis Dunk’s of this world now costing you £45m (the fee Leicester look set to pay).
I don’t Milan paying silly money for him, but Mike Ashley may be more than happy to cash in if any decent offer arrived given we paid just £3m for him this time last summer.
The sad thing is, I don’t think many would blame any of our star players who were considering a potential exit given the state we’re in just 4 weeks away from the start of the new season.
Schar isn’t the first player we’ve seen tipped with a potential exit since Perez and Rondon’s exits either, with Martin Dubravka the latest player to be deemed ‘unsettled’ over the weekend.
Considering how bad this summer has been up until now, let’s hope things don’t get even worse before they get better!
We got him because of slow buyout clause. Does anyone know if he has a similar agreement now.

F*cking shambles

I’d be surprised if a PL club doesn’t move for him seen as how hard it is to get good defenders these days.

The more bad news I read, the happier I am to have stopped my payments. Apathy is now my forte.
