Following Joelinton’s official move to Newcastle United, strongly linked winger Allan Saint-Maximin has been caught ‘liking’ several of his new NUFC-related posts on social media.
This may be a big coincidence, but it’s not gone unnoticed amongst Newcastle fans on Instagram – and rightly so given he’s another player who’s been tipped to arrive on Tyneside.
It’s been reported for a few weeks now that we’re keen on the enigmatic Nice winger, with L’Equipe claiming on Monday that we were preparing a move for the 22-year-old after the Ligue 1 side agreed to reduce their asking price.
As a result, Newcastle fans have spotted the Frenchman ‘liking’ both Joelinton’s and the club’s latest posts on Instagram, which show him being unveiled as a Newcastle United player:
What’s also interesting is the pair share the same agent, although they have never played together in the same side and don’t actually follow each other on Instagram, suggesting the player is taking a keen interest in all things NUFC.
A coincidence? A sign he’s keen to come? Or a potential hint that he could be the next in line?
