? New signing spotted at St James’ – 2nd deal of the summer now complete? – See photo here

A new picture has been leaked on Twitter, showing what appears to be Newcastle United’s second signing of the summer – Kyle Scott.

This comes just moments after an ‘exclusive’ from Football Insider claimed that the 21-year-old would sign a two-year deal at the club today – and a picture has now emerged of the former Chelsea midfielder inside St James’ Park.

As highlighted below, the USA U-20 international looks to have completed his move to the club, with him spotted posing for pictures at the stadium earlier today:

Scott made one senior appearance for Chelsea during a Cup win over Hull last year and played 41 times for their U-23’s, bagging two goals and eight assists in the process.

He’s a versatile midfielder and spent last season on loan in Holland, however he failed to be handed a new contract at Chelsea and appears to have signed on Tyneside today as a result.

  1. I wonder if he gets a promo video like Joelinton did?!

‘I grew up kicking a football round the streets of Bath. I always hoped that one day I’d become a professional footballer. But my dreams came true when Chelsea released me and I signed for Newcastle on a free’ ?

I’m joking. It’s always good to welcome a new arrival. Hope he comes good coz there’s lots of competition there now with Longstaff, Hayden, Shelvey and Ki.
