NUFC reporter responds to reports claiming N’soki’s £10m move from PSG has broken down

According to French outlets GFFN and L’Equipe, Newcastle’s move for Stanley N’Soki has reached ‘breaking point’ after the club submitted a series of ‘low-ball’ contract offers to the PSG left-back.

That said, just moments after these frustrating claims from France emerged, the Chronicle’s Andrew Musgrove has revealed that it’s his understanding that the two parties are close to agreeing terms over a contract, with the 20-year-old ‘very keen to join by all accounts’.

This comes after we agreed a £10m fee with the Ligue 1 giants just yesterday, with us now entering contract talks to complete his potential move to Tyneside.

Confirmation that he was picked in PSG’s squad ahead of their latest pre-season friendly in China tomorrow was a slight concern, however it felt like a deal should still be straight forward considering we’d agreed a fee fo a player reportedly keen to sign.

We now await the truth.

GFFN claim that ‘contract talks have ended’ until we improve the personal terms being offered to the French left-back, yet the Chronicle indicate that we’re not far away from an agreement.

Let’s hope the latter is correct!

  1. What is the problem we have year after year of signing a decent left back?
I can see Dummy Dummett being rolled out in his wheelchair in five years time to play.
We need TWO quality full backs – one each side, a top class winger, a strong midfielder and a decent back up striker.
We have to stop this annual penny pinching on purchases and contracts.
If we don’t we’ll be playing Sunderland next season. (Just the level for Brucey Baby).

Sunderland ,being he feels he cannot affordtocompete with the top PL clubs, what about clubs like Villa, Wolves,Leicester and other reentlypromotedsides, who haverespondied to promotion by rebuilding their sides with the big increase in revenues from membership in the
    PL .
Thesameguy who used immigrants working for low wages in his slave like factory conditions
operating under the SD logo, hreisboth cheap and a control freak, who will never change ,time to use the Boycott which has him scared already, it’s theonlywaytogetridofhimandhopefullyfindanownerwho is interested in bringing some joy to then thousands of fans currently supporting the club with full houses every other week, eleven years of his bullshitt. is enough. When you can’t even turn off the CAPS lock, then I guess you’re not going to be deploying any Cyber skills yourself then?

You think we will be relegated two divisions in one season? Or just as impossible, do you think Sunderland will get promoted?

  9. NO, but we still go because , nowt we can do, the toons has a history of bad owners, look back when we were in the 2nd Div in the 80s, 5th bottom, 16,000 gates, still went then home and away, and had my season ticket back then too, that is what you call a true supporter, if you are waiting for a owner to come along and just spend, spend, spend, well you do not live in the real world, so just find something else today, complaining on these site isn’t going to make it happing. go or don’t go.

You refer to Newcastle staff as ramshackle, inept and clueless, but I’m pretty sure they could figure out how to get the CAPS LOCK off.

It does seem to me that the Anti-Ashley brigade are not too clued up when it comes to social media.
Between Allan and his CAPS LOCK and Chuck inventing some of the longest words in the English language I suspect some night classes may be needed if the Magpies Group are to achieve their aim of taking over the world.
