Allan Saint-Maximin set to sign 6-year deal at NUFC after club agree fee with Nice – Report

According to RMC Sport, Newcastle have now agreed a £16.5m (€18m) fee + ‘considerable bonuses’ with Nice to sign Allan Saint-Maximin.

Their chief reporter Loic Tanzi also reveals that the winger will sign a SIX-year deal at St James’ Park, suggesting personal terms have already been agreed between the 22-year-old and Newcastle United.

This comes just a matter of hours after RMC claimed that Lee Charnley had arrived in France to ‘finalise’ a deal for the Frenchman, and it seems we’ve now finally got our man.

RMC claim that we had initial offers of €16m (£14.5m) and €18m (£16.5m) turned down, but our third offer is said to have been €18m PLUS ‘a set of considerable bonuses’ which could see Nice obtain an extra €4m (£3.5m).

He seems far from the finished article and a player who must work on his consistency, his attitude and his final ball, however he’s undoubtedly an explosive talent who can be devastating on his day, possessing the pace, skill and dribbling to torment any full-back.
