Newcastle ‘very close’ to signing PSG talent Moussa Sissako – Report

According to RMC, Newcastle are in ‘advanced negotiations’ to sign Moussa Sissako – the PSG defender, NOT the former NUFC midfielder!

This comes from the same outlet that claim we have agreed a deal to sign Allan Saint-Maximin, with them reporting that the Nice winger has agreed to sign a 6-year deal.

As for Sissako, they claim we are ‘very close’ to concluding a deal for the 18-year-old centre-back, with a fee and personal terms almost agreed:

The 6ft’ centre-back has played in PSG’s U-19 side, making 4 appearances in their UEFA Youth League campaign last season against the likes of Barcelona, Celtic and Anderlecht.

He is under contract with the French champions until 2021, however RMC claim that he is not a part of Thomas Tuchel’s long term plans at the club.

  1. Olly – from that video he looks mustard mate. Big, powerful, composed and can ping the ball about lovely – especially with his left peg.

Any idea how much he’s costing like?

He does, doesn’t he! Makes you wonder why PSG are letting him go really, but seems like a decent coup if we can get him.

    No fee mentioned by RMC.
