New signing spotted at St James’ Park? – See pictures here of player holding up NUFC kit

A picture has emerged today of what appears to be a new signing arriving at St James’ Park.

Not only is the potential new arrival spotted walking by the side of the pitch along with what appears to be a small entourage (as we saw Joelinton do prior to his official unveiling), he’s also been spotted holding up the black and white shirt in front of the dug out:

It didn’t seem as though any new senior signing was imminent, however we did bring in Jetro Willems in out of nowhere, so it’s hard to know who this could be.

The likes of Sevilla’s Ibrahim Amadou, Porto’s Moussa Marega (very unlikely), Lille’s Egdar Ie and PSG youngster Moussa Sissako have been mentioned as the mystery man spotted at the ground earlier today, however it’s very hard to say at this stage.

One name that is doing the rounds is Senegalese right-back Youssouf Sabaly – the Bordeaux right-back who has been tipped to make a move to the Premier League for a few years. It’s also worth noting he’s 26 (within Ashley’s blue print) and likely to be available for around £6-7m.

Just watch, this ends up being a promo video and absolutely nothing to do with a new signing!

We shall see!

  1. Not sure I would refer to the player, his agent, a photographer and a rep from NUFC as a small entourage.
