Allan Saint Maximin really is an impressive individual.
I wrote an article gushing about him just before the West Ham game and as a fully paid up member of his fan club, I’m about to unashamedly do the same.
After tearing West Ham to absolute shreds and playing a big part in a hugely important win on Saturday, ASM (as he will now be referred to here because I’m lazy) took to Twitter to respond to The Athletic’s Chris Waugh.
Have a look below:
The 22 Frenchman year old just gets it. He’s already helped out with the NUFC foodbanks and now this.
He’s talked a lot in previous interviews about his upbringing, and how his parents helped to keep him grounded, and he’s an absolute credit to himself and them.
Despite the fact he missed a couple of sitters, ASM was electric. He, Joelinton and Almiron showed the first real signs that they can gel as a partnership, and as well as being collectively brilliant they all had their best games of the season individually as well.
More of the same against Bournemouth please boys.
