David Moyes wants to bring in-form NUFC player to West Ham - & could make £5m bid - Report
David Moyes is 'interested' in bringing Javier Manquillo to West Ham this month, according to the Northern Echo.
The Hammers have been linked with a move for the Spaniard in recent weeks, and it's now been reported that Moyes is an admirer of the in-form full-back, having signed him for Sunderland back in August 2016.
Not only that, West Ham's need for defensive cover has risen over the past few days, with first choice right-back Ryan Fredericks expected to miss up to 2 months after picking up a hamstring injury in their FA Cup clash with Gillingham on Sunday.
This comes a few days on from The Athletic's David Ornstein confirming Manquillo was on West Ham's radar, and the Echo now claim a £5m bid could be on its way.
He's set to be missing for a few weeks himself after limping off in our 0-3 defeat to Leicester last week, but, with him out of contract this summer as things stand and us yet to offer him a new deal, he may well be assessing his options this month.
Time to reward his impress form with a new deal - or would you cash in while we can?
