According to the Chronicle’s Mark Douglas, Newcastle were showing interest in Blackburn star Bradley Dack in the build up to the January transfer window.
Our interest in the goalscoring no.10 may have been shelved, however, with him ruled out for the season after suffering a ACL injury in Blackburn’s Boxing Day draw with Birmingham.
That said, the Chronicle reveal that he’d grabbed the attention of the club’s chief scout Steve Nickson last year, meaning he could be one to watch should he make a full recovery in 2020.
Dack impressed in Blackburn’s FA Cup trip to St James’ Park this time last year – scoring in the game’s first leg – and has been one of the second tier’s star players over the past few seasons.
The 26-year-old bagged 10 goals and 3 assists in 24 appearances from midfield this term and weighed in with an impressive 18 goals and 10 assists in a poor Blackburn side across the 2018/19 season.
Here’s him in action:
Can’t even get match he was injured in right (v Wigan) so can we trust any other info to be correct…. I think more made up nonsense from a journalist desperate to fill a newspaper column using same details as last speculation news, just using copy and paste…
