According to Lee Ryder, Valentino Lazaro’s agent is now at St James’ Park as Newcastle look to tie up a loan deal for the Inter Milan wing-back.
In his latest piece for The Chronicle, he states the club are yet to confirm whether reports in Italy are true – which claim a deal has been agreed with Inter Milan – but the fact the Austrian’s agent is now on Tyneside suggests there’s been a breakthrough.
Ryder says discussions are continuing and a loan bid is in place, but states that “talks on a price at the end of the deal” are continuing between the twi clubs.
The piece also claims that head of recruitment Steve Nickson has also been at St James’ Park today, suggesting we are starting to ramp up our January transfer plans following Steve Bruce’s meeting with Mike Ashley earlier this week.
Reports in Italy claim that we’ll pay a £1.7m loan fee and agree a deal which gives us the option to sign the former Hertha Berlina star for £17m this summer.
This is the same Steve Nickson who recommended Joelinton to the Fatman ? ?

I blame Olly, it’s easy to say “someone claims”. I would like to see pictures of his agent at SJP, plus there is a game going on at the moment so Nickson will be there Sherlock Holmes.
Believe it when I see it like the many takeovers that where reported by “a source”.

Why are we looking at paying a huge fee for a wing back when it’s the opposing net that we need to fill not an Italian Bank Acc
