Danny Rose is now on Tyneside to complete a loan move to Newcastle United.
This comes from Sky Sports’ Keith Downie, who’s shared a picture of the Spurs left-back arriving at the club’s training ground to complete his medical this afternoon and finalise a move.
As Downie claims below, the move is a loan which is said to include NO obligation to buy – with us set to pay Tottenham £2m for his services until the end of the season:
“Danny Rose has just arrived at the Newcastle United Training Ground to finalise his loan move from Spurs.
“We’re told there’s no obligation to buy. Loan costing Newcastle +£2m.
“Rose will have his medical this afternoon.”
The Mail’s Craig Hope insists we have the ability to sign him permanently at the end of the season, but Sky Sports’ people are insisting it’s a straight loan.
